Bitcoin affinity scammers are trying to have it both ways. Bitcoin goes up, they say that see, I was right, Bitcoin is amazing. Bitcoin goes down, they say that it's the toxic maxis that are causing it and if only people would listen to them, everything would be ok. Not coincidentally, this is when they pull out the altcoin they happen to have gotten in early on. They're the kid in your group assignment that will take all the credit if things go well and blame others if things don't, all while doing little to no real work. These are the worst type of scammers, the astute political players that are great at playing fiat games and knowing everything about manipulating people and nothing about providing value. They are rightly rejected by the Bitcoin community because they're rent-seeking leeches.
In this clip Saifedean Ammous explains why Singapore is way richer than the Congo and how human action is the most important factor for economics, something which mainstream economics sadly ignores. https://rumble.com/v3zy2av-saifedean-on-why-singapore-is-richer-than-congo.html
You think altcoiners are mad now? There are fewer places to do the degenerate gambling they're used to. But even these will get substantially more regulated. The political pressure to punish the scammers will get intense. And they'll soon realize it's all scammers running these coins. Money is tight. Liquidations are coming. Selling to eat is going to become a thing. Lots of headwinds for alts. Tailwinds for BTC.
Did you know that Michael Saylor got $50M from Dan Larimer? Larimer, the prolific altcoiner, with ProtoShares, BitShares, EOS, and Steem to his name, wanted the domain voice.com for his new social media/altcoin scam. Who owned the domain? None other than Michael Saylor. Dan paid it, Saylor started looking into Bitcoin and the rest is history.

Amazing how quickly people abandon free speech when it's against the narrative of their party. Then again, politics is by its very nature, very high time preference.
Funny how the government accuses the market of price-gouging. What they're really saying is that they think prices are going up because of cartel/monopoly behavior. It's easy to dismiss this as propaganda, and to a large degree it is. But it's more than that. It's projection.
