Good Morning, from South Africa 🇿🇦 image
It deeply saddens me to see our communities continuously fall victim to scams, especially when we are working so hard to provide for our families with limited resources. When someone tells me they have been scammed, I feel an overwhelming urge to ask. Why didn’t you seek guidance at Bitcoin Ekasi Center before trusting your hard-earned money to someone?💔 Your support will help us build a dedicated learning space. This Saturday, on the 24 of August, at our Bitcoin Ekasi Center, we will proudly celebrate the third anniversary of the @BitcoinEkasi project. This milestone is a testament to the dedication of hard work and everyone who has contributed to making this vision a reality. For the celebration, we will be sourcing our supplies from local shops that now accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. This choice not only supports our local businesses but also highlights how far we’ve come since the early days of onboarding the first shops in the township. The journey was far from easy, but it reinforced a valuable lesson: if you are passionate about something, persistence is key. Keep pushing forward until you achieve your goals. We are excited to celebrate our third anniversary with the residents of the township and local shop owners. If you're in the area, we would love for you to join us. @BitcoinEkasi #Anniversary #LetsCelebrate image
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Marcelo from Mozambique 🇲🇿. Despite not having a bank account, he's found a way to innovate and empower his business. Marcelo now accepts Bitcoin payments at his barbershop. Africa needs #Bitcoin, and #Bitcoin needs Africa @BitcoinEkasi image
