👋 Welcome to our profile! ⚡ Hope With Bitcoin, as the name suggests, is a charitable initiative created with one simple goal: 👉 To share hope through Bitcoin. 📍 How did this initiative begin? It was on a Sunday, during a walk along the beach in Cotonou. I saw children standing still in frozen poses, acting as living statues. They were doing this to earn a few coins from generous passersby… Just enough to buy a meal or a piece of clothing. That scene deeply moved me. I thought: “No child should have to live like this. No parent would ever choose this for their child.” Then the idea came: 👉 What if we used the power of Bitcoin to help the forgotten? Street children, the homeless, the sick, orphanages, underfunded schools… On January 8, 2025, Hope With Bitcoin was born. And quickly, we began taking action. 🎯 Our mission: 🍽️ Provide meals to the homeless and vulnerable children 🏫 Support orphanages and public schools 🩺 Assist sick individuals in need ⚡ Introduce people to Bitcoin and Nostr as tools of freedom 📣 Raise awareness through educational stickers placed in public spaces ✅ What we already do: - Distribute meals to children living in the streets - Provide food supplies to Bon Arbre orphanage - Help individuals struggling with illness - Pay local vendors in Bitcoin - Educate beneficiaries about Bitcoin in a simple way - Share all proof of our actions on Geyser, Primal, and X 🚧 What we’re working on: We are launching a pig farming project to make our mission self-sustaining and long-term. 📎 Learn more:

Fundraising for the orphanage Our main focus this week is completing our fundraising goal to buy food supplies for a local orphanage. 💰 Target: 350,000 sats 📌 Collected so far: 159,380 sats We're making progress, but we still need a final push to reach our goal. 🌟 Hope With Bitcoin – Proof of Work #14: Mission for Orphanage Support 🌟 This weekend, we are advancing towards our 14th Proof of Work. Our mission: to bring essential food supplies to the Orphelinat Nouvel Espoir pour les Enfants Vulnérables and support the children living there. It has been three months since our last visit, and we believe it is time to act again. These children are not forgotten we have thought of them, and we are determined to provide meaningful help once more. 💛 What we will provide: ✅ 25 kg of rice ✅ Beans ✅ Vegetable oil ✅ Salt and sugar ✅ Corn ✅Cooking charcoal. ✅ Powdered milk ✅ Fresh fruits (bananas, oranges) ✅ Soap (toilet and laundry) 🎯 Fundraising goal: 350,000 sats 💰 Current balance in our wallet: 40,875 sats 🔑 Sats still needed to complete the mission: 309,125 sats Every satoshi matters together, we can make a real difference.
