The Wunderteam can honestly go all the way to the semifinals if they keep up this pace. As for Turkey, they have also been a joy to watch. The loss to Portugal should not dampen the expectation upon them, they are an exciting class of talent. The Crescent Stars have played an attacking brand of football where the only thing on their mind has been goals goals and more goals- the presence of Arkatoglou, Yilmiz, Güler and co. has helped Turkey get to where they are. Another set of Round of 1️⃣6️⃣ games are about to kick off at #EURO2024🤩 ⚽️GAME: 🇫🇷France vs Belgium🇧🇪 🚨🚨KICKOFF AT 17:00 BST🚨🚨 France and Belgium have both failed to live up to their expectations and has thus resulted in this premature clash of the titans. Les Bleus put in a positive performance against Poland in their last game- but could only score from the spot. Honestly, the only positive in this French side from the whole tournament has been N’Golo Kanté, he will be their centerpiece to success tonight and of course, Kylian Mbappé up front can make something out of nothing. For Belgium, they have to perform tonight otherwise the media will have a field day on them. They put in a very impressive performance against Romania but again faltered to Ukraine. Simply put, the Red Devils are inconsistent- BUT do have the potential to hurt the French if they click like they did against Romania. They can go all the way if they do have the right squad assembled, which (in my opinion) was the same squad that played against Turkey- shall Roberto Martinez start the same squad, Portugal will be certified quarter-finalists. Slovenia on the other hand, are not a pushover. They are still unbeaten in the tournament and are known to put in spirited performances against all squads whether big or small- watch out for this lot of players AND their spirited fans.
