The trolly problem but everyone on the tracks are cops.
I drank a bunch of water yesterday so I was up a lot last night visiting the porcelain chair and now today I'm dragging ass. Stupid sleep. Who invented this shit?
Welcome to Sunday. The first of the last days of the rest of your week. May you find kindness in your words and strength in your steps. Have a good one.
Did you know that hidden mastodons are scattered all across the Fedi? That’s why it’s important to give each service a try, so that you can see if you can find its hidden mastodon! Can you find them all? #NoneOfThisIsTrue #WhatTheFuckIsAHiddenMastodon
People who are suggesting that the Colbert show and others who are being pressured out by the current administration, should then start up a PeerTube instance and figure out a way to monetize it, either have no idea how a show like Colbert is funded, or have no idea how PeerTube works and what it’s purpose is. I mean, essentially what you’re suggesting is that a five star Michelin restaurant close their doors and start handing out food on the corner for tips. Really?
I'm getting dating and sports spam in my feed because bots are using the #today hashtag for whatever reason? I'm grateful that it's so easy to block an account on Mastodon.
This is going to be a long rant. So buckle up. MOST (not all) people on the Fedi don't support PeerTube content. They might see a video in their feed, but they aren't going to watch it. And they DEFINITELY aren't browsing anyone's PeerTube instance to find videos to watch. Everyday I see really well made videos get 14 views after a week. Even if I go to one of the more popular instances I see videos that have been up for 6 months with only 400 views. And yeah, that seems like a lot. P.1
Did you know that some people have cats that don’t yell at them every morning?
Watched a nice little Japanese movie last night on Hulu called "Perfect Days" and I highly recommend it. This is a "slice of life" movie that centers on a simple man who cleans toilets for work and how he moves through his days. The story at first seems simple and almost boring. The first 30 min I think has two lines of dialog? But then you slowly start to catch the vibe and see the beauty of how this man faces each day. This movie takes patience but it's worth it.
