When "Quoting" is finally introduced into Mastodon I'm hoping that instances will take a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding people who use it to dog pile on someone that they disagree with. I don't care how justified you feel doing it, it's a slippery slope that eventually ends in innocent people being shit on because they seem "different". And that's not what the Fedi is about. There are good and fun ways to use quoting. Dog piling should not be one of them.

The real tragedy after losing a beloved pet is the realization that they deserved to be loved more, even when you’ve poured all of your love into them.
I think it’s going to be time to say goodbye to my little buddy Dax soon. He’s been showing signs of decline over the last month, and then yesterday he stumbled going upstairs and then the rest of the day was very low energy. Then in the middle of the night, he had an accident and he couldn’t keep his back legs up. (1/2)

Making a couple of loaves of my Sourdough Buttermilk Sandwich bread #today . The recipe on my website has been gaining traction this last month from out of no where.
