I follow the #live hashtag and I've noticed an uptick in livestreams lately here on the Fedi. Which is great! More people are using #Owncast and #peertube to share their livestreams instead of YouTube or Twitch. It's almost like the Fedi, while much much smaller has a personal value beyond the corporate temptation for the POTENTIAL of a higher view count. Or maybe people just want to share their fun with cool people? Whichever it is I hope it continues!
