I think Bitcoin, in other words, is a form of money inspired by Emmanuel Kant’s famous principle: treat others the way you would want them to treat you. In the African context, I would say Bitcoin carries that Ubuntu spirit , a sense of shared dignity, fairness, and humanity.
Just thinking out loud… For years, opposition leaders in governments, journalists and activists have been killed, silenced, imprisoned, or publicly vindicated simply for voicing their ideas and standing for the truth. But now something has changed. Today, we have decentralized and censorship-resistant platforms—spaces where voices can’t be easily erased, where ideas can survive even when people are targeted. This is more than technology; it’s a shift in power. A chance for ordinary people to speak without fear. A chance to preserve truth in a world that often punishes it.
Hello Bitcoin Community, I am kindly reaching out for support to help two girls who previously dropped out of school return to their education. Schools reopened on Monday, yet they are still at home because they lack the basic school materials they need. Any contribution no matter how small would make a meaningful difference. I truly believe in these girls, and I dream that one day they will grow, learn, and even become contributors to the Bitcoin ecosystem. Your support today can change their future. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Bitcoin is more than money; it is a whole change of mindset. It is the kind of money that gives real purpose, true freedom, and true dignity.
From my experience, if Bitcoin is going to be truly adopted especially here in developing countries, education has to start at the grassroots level. We need Bitcoin awareness and literacy introduced in lower classes, so that children grow up understanding and normalising what Bitcoin is and what it stands for. I believe primary and secondary schools should have Bitcoin developer labs where young people can learn, experiment, and innovate. Circular Bitcoin economies should be encouraged and supported within communities. There is so much work that needs to be done, but the first step is education that is community led, inclusive, and built from the ground up.

If you look at the prehistory of Bitcoin, look at the ideas and social movements that existed before it,you will appreciate that Bitcoin Existence,it's inspiration was drawn from "protecting the oppressed". Bitcoin is not just money but it is a solution to the oppressed.
