Conducted by e& UAE in collaboration with NYU Abu Dhabi, the experiment used terahertz (THz) frequencies, a breakthrough that moves us closer to the next era of hyperconnected communication between humans and machines.
At this speed, massive data transfers happen in seconds, making it possible to download several full-length movies almost instantly. Though the test took place under controlled conditions, it marks a huge step toward real-world 6G deployment.
