Disgusted, disappointed, enraged. Never felt this unfathomably hopeless about the country and society I live in, not to mention the people I’ve spent years walking around and amongst. I’m sick to my stomach.

Out of all the man-made things this planet has, I find paint to be the most painfully beautiful. I want to take buckets of it, slather it on every object and place in my surroundings and I feel horribly restricted.

I’ve never had such a swift switch-up on a person as I had on Kendrick Lamar this year. My man Cole has more raw talent and decency in a finger than this half pint bitch who can’t marry a woman he’s been ‘engaged’ to for a decade does in his entire body.

My dad brought me buckeye chocolates from Cincinnati and I finished a whole box just now. I’m not usually a fan of candy but these are divine.

*Highly* recommended reading for anyone who is interested in or has the tiniest bit of experience dealing with matters of love, desire, or romance (which should be most people). I read this many years ago and still return to it time and time again when I feel confused about my feelings or reactions to a particular person, or when, God forbid, I start to develop a crush and find myself needing a reality check. Most insightful secular book I am currently in the possession of.

There’s nothing I hate more on Twitter than people with large followings who stay quiet about the important things. Whether due to fear or apathy or some misguided believe that their ‘posts don’t make a different,’ it’s all a sickening revelation of their character.
