would really like to know how many Podcasting 2.0 players support HLS video streaming? We are not talking about live but instead of serving a mp4 we would serve a HLS file m3u8 file which would be able to adapt the pre-recorded video depending on the viewers connection type? We want to solve the issue where video buffering happens because a viewer decides they need the high 4K video when their internet can't cope with it.

The community has truely achieved some ground breaking things like location, transcripts, person tag and podcast GUID. Not to mention having an open index directory and podping. This is ridiculous @npub14p76...2uvv app is either poorly coded where users are auto downloading all episodes in milliseconds or their app doesn't respect 429 requests. We will be banning the app from accessing any shows on PodToo, unless this behaviour is stopped, we have the logs to prove it. Note Podcast Addict app only equals 0.9% of listenership for most of our clients. We normally would not block an app that is close to 1% market share, but their lack of response to work together is why.

It’s been months that our creators have use @npub1cwms...wcs6 fountain logo and @npub1thg9...zq23 truefans logo on their social media tiles. Our creators are already supporting podcasting 2.0 apps out in the wild. Now we need to work together more.
