This juvenile humpback that could have outlived most of us had its cycle cut short, offering its energy back to the seagulls. May the grotesque textures and smells remind us of life's vastness, fragility and impermanence. To stand this close was both humbling and emotional. #noicemag #photography

Photography submission by Bertie Taylor: My name is Bertie Taylor, I’m a musician, photographer and short film maker, based on the south coast of the UK. These images are from my series ‘ Mundane symmetry’ which were captured on my travels across mainland Europe. My grandfather had passed away and he left me some money and his car, as he was a keen traveller, I drove from England to the border of Russia and across Europe. I purposely avoided tourist destinations and cities, instead I was drawn to industrial areas and the suburbs, this is where this series started and I continued when I got back to the UK, I’m currently making the series into a book. #noicemag #photography #photostr #artstr
