I just had the worst experience installing windows on my newly refreshed PC. Windows can't recognize wifi or bluetooth so I had to USB tether my phone to progress in the Windows installer which also froze up on me and made me start over again after a notification sent by windows setup caused me to pick up my phone jiggling out the usb and breaking network connection.
Most Linux installers are better than this.
