These women were weeding the tomato plants in Patterson CA. The high reached 90 this day. The women paused for a quick break and share despite the long hours in the sun they keep pushing each other throughout the day to get the job done. #WeFeedYou

It's peak cherry picking season in WA. If workers work super fast they can make extra money during these 4 -6 weeks. "Leo" says he's earning $4.50/22 lb bucket. He's managing to pick 55-65 buckets/day. It's supposed to pass 100° next week. #WeFeedYou

"Ana's" picked blueberries for 20 yrs. "It's hard work. My hands get scratched from dry branches & burn once I start sweating in the heat. I get $7/bucket in May-June's peak season. When a row has lots of fruit it goes well. But many days it's hard to make enough." #WeFeedYou

Nothing says #July4 like a big juicy slice of watermelon. This yummy fruit doesn't just appear on our picnic table. It takes a lot of work. An average watermelon weighs 20 pounds. Can you imagine harvesting them in a 98° Bakersfield area field like these workers? #WeFeedYou
