Creating is better than buying. Anybody else out there making/creating during this gift giving season? The consumerism behavior of Christmas is very off-putting to me. I've been deep in the wood shop lately despite freezing toes and numb fingers. I can't bring myself to just buy something (usually plastic crap) for people just because of the social obligation to give a gift.

It has been a rough couple of days, but the show must go on. I find getting back to work and focusing on the task at hand helps return a sense of normalcy to life, but even in those moments all it takes is a glimpse to make you think you see your long lost pet. The tribute previously posted here was added to the end of this video, but this weeks video speaks strongly towards my Bitcoin ethos and some of the challenges I think we are certain to see develop in the future--many of which are already occuring to our friends across the pond.
