this is a fascinating talk about the collapse and rebirth of the UK.
this is Eva Vlaardingerbroek. A few days ago, she called the prime minister of the UK bad names on twitter. Today she received a letter from the UK banning her from entering the country. Because the government of the UK are pathetic, corrupt, sissyboys who cry when pretty girls call them names. 🤓 image
one of the practices of korean natural farming involves going into old growth forest areas, digging down underneath the decaying leaves layer, and placing a growing medium to collect the missing strains of soil bacteria. then they grow that sample over a week into a larger mound of soil which they use as vegetable growing medium. they then treat it with diluted fermented plant juice, and highly diluted ocean water. why? the resulting bacterial and fungal ecosystem produces nutrient profiles that are near impossible to replicate using the western industrial petroleum based chemical fertilizer systems. i find the whole thing compelling and fascinating 🧐
