SkyFeed: I'm running two separated full copies of the database in two different locations. Both of them broke at the same time, looks like due to some bug in the DB. So I'm now trying to somehow recover the corrupted DB state
Hey SkyFeed users, I'm sorry for not yet responding to the current feed issues 🙁 From my current data it looks like only a subset of feeds is affected, but of course that's still unacceptable. So if you see a feed that seems to be broken, please reply to this post and I'll check them all in 10 hours
The SkyFeed Builder will get support for video-related blocks (like only including videos or searching their alt text with regex) next week or so, videos (incl. captions) are already being indexed in the SkyFeed database.
I just re-enabled most personalized SkyFeed feeds (like OnlyPosts and Mutuals), performance is looking good so far. All feeds are however still cached for 10 minutes on average, so please keep that in mind when it seems like new posts aren't appearing on it.

SkyFeed is a free and open-source third-party service hosting many of the feeds here and if you would like to support it (esp. server costs), the only official way is [github.com/sponsors/red...](
The current SkyFeed infrastructure can't handle the extra load (more than 4x) caused by all the new users. I'm currently setting up two new powerful servers, which should have enough resources to get all feeds back online later today. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the downtime 😊
I just woke up, looks like my efforts to re-route requests in a way to keep everything online failed some hours ago while I was asleep. So until the new servers are available, I will likely need to increase the cache duration, so it might take up to 20 minutes for feeds to update in the worst case 😓
