As I learn to read Classical (Koine) Greek, the more writings I want to read in that language, both from within and outside of the Christian tradition. Even just the limited readings I've done of Genesis and the Gospel of John have provided to me new insights.
When Christians go on guided tours of Israel, this is what they don't see (or fail to understand what they are seeing). But that I did see the evidence of when I was there in 2019:
If you don't understand the spiritual/religious beliefs of your enemies, then you don't understand your enemies at all.
