Bit of an β€œend of an era” for me Have been heavily involved in administering the community-based, not-for-profit daycare my kids have attended for the last 4 years Kids are now (soon to be) no longer attending, growing up So it’s time for me to pass the baton Definitely moments in the 100s of hours when I questioned whether it was worth it, but upon reflection very proud to have been involved and to have made a big impact A bit more time to continue building up the local Bitcoin scene in Perth and WA soon!! image
Parallels was up for renewal today. ~AU$140/year Used to use it a lot when I was working in different roles but now only used for a single VM. Took a bit of effort to get up and running but switched to UTM - open source. Bit embarrassed it took so long for the switch. While I was at it I also got rid of some other software that I know has heaps of telemetry and could be considered somewhat user-hostile: - Raycast - I’d already switched back to Alfred recently - Warp - now using Ghostty
Up and running with my first production peer-observer box…
