So I get a bit pissy when people accuse me of using AI or faking images. I try my hardest to create interesting photographic results using real studio tools. I was accused of using AI and digital backgrounds in our Hero image for the recent Feature Guide on Manual Grinders on CoffeeGeek. So I grabbed the image, and asked Gemini if the background was digitally added. It did get the technique I used wrong (the background is translucent perspex, and I have a main bank of RGB lights to illuminate it, and a spot to wash out the middle). But other than that, it is spot on with the techniques and lighting I did. This shot too about 75 minutes to stage, a few minutes to shoot, and maybe 5 minutes in post to finish.

#NCP Oh dear. Why is it that people who already have tens/hundreds of millions of dollars via their fame still feel the need to sell parts of their souls to add another million to the bank account?
