Day 2 with NetBSD is proving challenging, but now that the basic pieces are in place, I've been able to get the core applications I need and added some functionality. I've got office software, e-mail, text editing, a music player (and volume control!), and I can restart/shutdown from within Xfce. It's been a busy day of getting things sorted, but I feel like it'll be easier from this point.
