Pretty much the only thing I miss twitter is SFF book twitter. I followed a bunch of queer and fem authors, I read SO MANY amazing books by brilliant new voices. I expect there's something like that on BS but I'm not doing centralized socials maybe ever again. Bookstodon is pretty good, but it's not quite the same. A bunch of authors joined wandering.shop early days but most left for BS Anyway if you were a queer SFF tweeter plz like; I follow #Bookstodon #SFF

So apparently I can articulate melodies and adornments on the slide guitar now, instead of just whatever I can reach with the slide. After 35 years or so I'm used to progress coming in long slow climbs and wide plateaus. It's a nice surprise to stumble my way to a new horizon.

I've had a beginner sailboat up on craigslist for a while, and I just got my first scam attempt: "I'll send you a cashier's check and someone will come pick up the boat for you." There are other obvious scam indicators, so I'm having fun wasting their time, asking "how long you been sailing? what kind of waters you plan on sailing? What boats have you sailed before?" I'll probably ghost when I'm done eating breakfast tho.

With just days remaining in May, I've only just learned that it is National Accordion Awareness Month here in the US. Does anybody know where I can donate in hopes that one day there will be a cure?
