I’m inspired by @Achilles who posts great content to remind us all to focus on what really matters in life. Every year I make a rink in my backyard. My kids play hockey, which rules our lives in the winter. Playing a competitive sport teaches so many skills: resilience, communication, determination. All great skills for later in life. We have a new addition to our house. A dog who is experiencing her first winter. It is great watching the kids play with her on the rink. She’ll bite my boots while I shovel it, chase pucks around and reluctantly toboggan down the snow hill built at the back. We’re stacking memories!
