On the 29 November 1947, the United Nations adopted resolution 181, which was the partition plan for #Palestine between an Arab state and a Jewish state, and the announcement that British troops would guarantee peace in their former colony for the transition. This triggered a mild 3-day strike from the Palestinian side, and the #Catastrophe: the terror, expulsion, razing and annihilation of villages, killings, ethnic cleansing and colonial dispossession by the Zionist occupation forces.
