The amount of people that need formal permission to do anything, no matter how proper, noble, or wise, is despicable. Stop looking for permission and start living right!

People who fly in the window seat and choose to close the window during takeoff and landing so they can instead watch their phone or sleep blow my mind. Have they lost all appreciation of and wonder in life? Seeing the remarkable world below while soaring above in the air remains on of the most remarkable things to me even if I’ve done it hundreds of times

The fact that we we allow people to be locked in cages just for having a “wrong” plant in their garden or yard is insane.

Is it illegal to search DuckDuckGo for “what is jury nullification?” or “should it be illegal to grow a plant?” 👀

If you haven’t, read a book by Joel Salatin. “Folks, this ain’t normal” is a great starter.

I bought a technical/hiking-style shirt at a big box store for like $20 and it has a little triangle microfiber cloth sewn into the inside of the front below the last button. I first thought this was a silly, unnecessary complication but it turns out that it’s a rather useful and thoughtful addition. I now use it all the time to wipe phone screen, sunglasses, can lids, etc

When you travel to exotic places, periodically share photos with loved ones. This helps you stay connected to them and also helps them trace your steps if you go missing 🤣🤣

Software and browser-only webapps that allow easy import and export of .json files are awesome. I love being able to save and share my work without a host’s server. A rather slick, interoperable way to handle data across devices and applications. #foss
