Once again, I am asking the world for maybe... just maybe... taking a break on the news so I can write about the stories from three months ago that I still have open in my tabs and would still like to write about... please?
And one further point on this: the reason I think Bluesky and the underlying ATprotocol are actually so important is that they are fundamentally set up to allow people to create their own communities and their own culture, without demanding that a company decide it for them.

I actually kinda dislike the framing of "bubble" or "echo chambers" because it implies a lack of access or knowledge of other viewpoints. That's not true.
I think a more accurate framing is that different sites have different *cultures*. And... that's kind of normal.
