It's getting pretty wild, I can't believe Pixelfed.social is now the most active fediverse server. And Loops is now the 3rd most active. It hasn't fully hit me yet, I'm still working on bug fixes and app updates, and support, devops, moderation, fundraising and marketing. People worried about me burning out don't realize I've been dreaming of this, and preparing. That's how I was able to ship the app, scale the servers and grow our team in just a few days. One more thing, you see it too. 😎

Based on Mastodon.social's usage of DragonflyDB and the multiple problems, I think I'll just stick with redis lol

AI generated posts are getting reported, so I think we need to adopt a new strategy to allow to users to self tag AI content, and allow everyone to filter that out from their feeds with a single setting. If users don't self tag AI, they will get a warning, and multiple violations may lead to suspension. Wdyt? #askFedi #pixelfed

"Reported for using too many hashtags" We do have a limit of 60 hashtags per post, if you exceed that limit, the rest won't be autolinked. Btw, the fediverse belongs to everyone. The hashtag police need to calm down lol, people are used to them from Instagram.
