It's funny because they always start with "Omg, we love your work" But the VC's never truly understand the model, or maybe they do, and they think they can leverage me to exploit this. Guess what? I keep hearing about BlueSky Flashes, and it's curious because it's literally just a client that filters out non-photo posts. You can't have Stories or other useful features on Bluesky unless its centralized.

Being bullied by the fediverse in Pixelfed's early history because of the fact it didn't federate right away was tough to deal with. I've received more reports in the last 48 hours than in the past 7 years! While I'm managing to do this on my own atm, I need to assemble a mod team, and build a mod dashboard/role so I can lessen the burden, and focus on coding. Doing everything yourself works great until you go viral, and suddenly are fighting fires. Wouldn't change a thing though, I'm sliving 💅
