I am finally running bitcoin! I don't know why I waited so long or why I expected it to be complicated, but it was very simple to do. I'd recommend that every bitcoiner runs their own node.

After uploading my music to @Wavlake a few weeks ago, I'm pleased to see that not only am I receiving better money (sats) and more value compared to the pennies that services like Spotify were paying out, I'm also making real connections with people who are engaging with my songs. It's awesome to receive feedback via the messaging feature, and to grow an audience organically. 🎶

Any suggestions on what else I should look into? Nostr (social media) Fountain (podcasting) Wavlake (music streaming) sMiles (earn sats for steps, bitcoin faucet, games, etc) Simple Bitcoin (learn & earn) ShakePay (like a Canadian version of Fold app for bitcoin rewards, etc)
