view transition API is really neat, that match-3 game has no custom animation keyframes whatsoever it's just relying on the browser defaults
it's frustrating though because it's one of those things where you do actually have to try using it

the animation relies on view transition API, so no Firefox for now unfortunately. the empty tiles just fades to a new color because I haven't figured that one out yet
