how many base encodings am i expected to support to cover the entirety of atproto
i counted 5, the did stuff is specced to be two but atproto ref impl seems to be supporting a lot more
there's probably some value in atproto records having attestation values (e.g. providing a trust score for moderation, if they were posted from an appview that requires captcha/id verif to post or w/e)
but i don't think it'll be good for the network
atproto's reference typescript library having looser typings makes for a fun fingerprinting exercise
you can tell who's using atproto's richtext detection methods because mention facets has an extra field that's not really meant to be there
