had a call around 11:15am about a position I applied to at my old employer last week
I worked there for several years; great company culture, with better benefits
theyโre a publically traded company; thatโs all Iโll say
the guy Iโd be reporting to has been with the company for 20+ years, and said heโd looked at over 60 resumes for the position; but I had worked in-parallel to him before (same office space, different teams)
they scheduled and had the interview *today*
it went well ๐ค should hear soon one way or the other
moral of the story:
NEVER burn your bridges
youโll never know who youโll run into again down the road
