A fun conversation with an Englishman who had moved to #Switzerland and came to discover #Corsica on vacation. My broken English was a bit of a hindrance, but we understood each other. I was surprised to see how concerned he was about Corsican independence. I appreciate these people who want everyone to be able to live in #freedom. Personally, I feel #lucky to have been born here. I do my best to make the most of it; we don't last forever.
#GM Nostr 😁☀️ A new peaceful day begins 🏝️ This morning, I'm sharing images from a #drone flight over Verghia Beach in southern #Corsica. Historically, this bay was an ancient port until around the 19th century. On the rocks, you can see the remains of a World War II defense turret that ran aground.
