A new survey commissioned by the Insurance Council of New Zealand Te Kahui Inihua o Aotearoa (ICNZ) has revealed that 49% of respondents to the survey believe the government should invest more to safeguard lives and properties. In a similar survey in 2023 this number was found to be 53% and in 2022 it was only 39%. In 2024 around 29% remain unsure about this issue
