U.S. President Trump has signed an executive order adding a $100,000 application fee for the H-1B visa, which is used to hire skilled foreign workers. Tech companies are the main beneficiaries of the program, with Amazon receiving the most last year. "We're going to be able to keep people in our country that are going to be very productive people, and in many cases these companies are going to pay a lot of money for that, and they're very happy about it," Mr. Trump said.

Republican lawmakers in Michigan are seeking to completely ban pornography, ASMR, depictions of transgender people, and VPNs. House Bill 4938 would prohibit distribution of material in Michigan that "corrupts the public morals." Platform operators that "knowingly distribute" banned content would potentially face up to 20 years in prison. The Michigan legislature, in which the bill was introduced, is GOP controlled, however the Democratic senate and Gov.
