Feb 1, 2026 @ 10:31 Good morning family & friends❣️ I will be going back to bed shortly and today will be much like yesterday for the most part but I am hoping to do some recording on my keyboard (planned to start Sunday Selections today, sharing a few of my favorite hymns each week), and of course get Don's Guest Post up. Pete is so exhausted, still from being up all night Friday I think, he fell asleep in his chair waiting until it was time to leave for church, and I chose to let him sleep. I will make dog food while working on the blog stuff later I guess but it all depends on what is going on in my head 🙄. So first, sleep. Jan 30, 2026 @ 21:35 Good evening family & friends❣️ I hope you had a great Friday! I slept through much of mine. Pete had an appointment in Saginaw in the afternoon. When I woke up this evening I did the Friday Funnies, had something to eat, took care of the PoiBoiz for the evening, and will probably be back in bed shortly as per usual. Tomorrow will be busier I think, with some shopping, Zoey coming, and I think Casey said she may come in the morning too. That's about it for me, sleep well❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

Jan 30, 2026 @ 09:12 Good morning family & friends❣️ Wow, hard to believe that January is almost over already! Or, as Pete says, "Mosquito season is coming fast!" 😆 Sunny morning, temp was -7°F (-14°F wind chill) when I woke up a couple of hours ago. They're saying we'll be in the mid-teens today. Sun is bright, sky is bright blue, so it is pretty looking outside from our warm home. Pete has an appointment this afternoon but we sprung a radiator leak in the car, and HoWie just doesn't like to run in the winter. Pete said he will put some BarS (or whatever it's called) in it. I would love to sell this car, we had Suburbans before this one, and when we needed to replace our last Suburban there weren't any to be had anywhere that we could find. So we got this Escalade and neither of us have liked it as well as the Suburbans, for numerous reasons having nothing to do with the radiator leak which can happen in any car. BUT it has served us well and we're thankful for having it; just planning to go back to a Suburban when we replace this. Anyway my plans for today are about the same as most days, and will likely work out about the same as most days too! Jan 29, 2026 @ 19:39 Good evening family & friends❣️ It's been a long but very productive day today! J&E were here, we haven't seen them since well before Christmas, so that was GREAT! And we had a blast, went to a little gift store/flower shop (it's that log-cabin-looking building down by the bowling alley, Casey) and it is WONDERFUL in there, all kinds of cool stuff, and they have vendors bringing in their wares as well...just a delightful little place! So I bought a few little succulents there, and then some more at Home Depot. Tomorrow I will get some photos up of my beautiful little babies! All of the Christmas decorations are packed away and back in the attic, so there's plenty of space to put them out. Anyway, I'm totally stoked about these plants and excited to find interesting vessels in which to replant them in the coming weeks! Part of the fun of flowers, I've found the last couple of springs, is planting a variety of plants in pots to make arrangements - and I think I do very well at it too. I've already begun the same with my new little babies, and have plans for some of the others when I get big enough pots. Or maybe terrarium or two! But I'm worn out now (surprise! 🙄) so am on my way to bed...and I will see you tomorrow. Good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛
