Dec 22, 2025 @ 10:41 Good morning family & friendsโฃ๏ธ It is a gray and cloudy day today, probably cold (I haven't looked at the weather yet or been outside) and I'm going heavy - as you might expect - on Christmas content this week. Of course I will continue to celebrate Christ's birth throughout the month but This Is The Week that I'm bringing it all out, starting with Don's wonderful story yesterday, Why The Shepherds. (I keep reading it, over and over again!) Today's plans are a doctor's appointment this afternoon, which is online; never done that before but Casey has, and she will be here for it. Also have to make dog food, want to get a start on the laundry, and of course Monday memories will be a Christmas edition...I plan to record today's Christmas song as well. Feeling pretty good this morning, Pete's CARF.net group prayed for me this morning on their net, he anointed me with oil (ref James 5:14-16) and I am feeling better than I have in a long time so am planning a normal day, relying on Jesus to make it happen. His will be done! Anyway, just finished my tea and am ready to get his day started so I will see you later, have a magnificent Mondayโฃ๏ธ ๐ ๐ถ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ โ๏ธ ๐

This is the story of the man who tried to kill Christmas. It is strange and bizarre and doesnโt seem […]
] NOTE: This is indeed a disturbing part of what many now refer to as The Christmas story. But it is part of it nonetheless and therefore I am sharing it here. The article referenced handles it beautifully and is an easy and even entertaining - yet sensitive - read. I felt better about something that has always troubled me for having read it.
