Remember the time when people had to buy CDs to install software - wait - let's go further than that - freaking floppy disks.
I would install it for my dad and if one floppy gets a CRC error... I would eject the floppy, blow the dust off, pray some mumbo jumbo, insert it back again, until ... it worked.
🚨 Re-check on Sparrow Wallet: our earlier report wrongly claimed that a certain version was fully reproducible.
We rebuilt v2.2.3 in a clean Ubuntu container. Launcher is bit-for-bit identical ✅, but the bundled JDK still has non-deterministic metadata ⚠️.
