My three kids, born in South Korea and China, became U.S. citizens upon adoption under the Child Citizen Act of 2000. Because of increasingly obscure differences in adoption from different countries the two older kids, from South Korea, also went through a citizenship acknowledgement process./1
Also, in the case in which this guy cooperated, I got a conviction against a dude for material support of a designated terrorist group, and then America decided, for purely political reasons, that they werenβt a terrorist group, in case you want to guess my mood about American politics right now.

Got a call from the wife of a cooperating witness in a case I prosecuted in the 90s. Iβve written a letter for him on occasion because he was a stand up guy who did a good job under duress. ICE just picked him up. Heβs been in the country like 35 years.
Techbros: I am a generational genius and outside norms. Lawyers tell me not to run my mouth about my lawsuit but lawyers are midwits at best. I will therefore explain to everyone why I will win my lawsuit, which will educate the dim public and also help me win.

Itβs outrageous that a masked ICE thug can punch a man in the face and escape consequences anonymously. Thatβs not America.
America is for the thug cop to be identified and THEN escape all significant consequences for lawless brutality after a brief period of paid leave
