It's Friday! Woo hoo! and here we have week 138 (pffft!) of the Friday Dancers, and week 1 of their move to open source production. Still sparkly. Still dancing. As ever, have a good weekend if you possibly can :HumphStomp: #FridaySparklyDancers #sillyScribbles #nonsense
As promised, have some words on moving away from Animate, & why I'm trying out Friction as an alternative in the first instance. Skip this thread if you have no interest in animation software. First up, big thanks to everyone with suggestions, & I am absolutely not dissing any of the other apps people mentioned. I had very specific requirements & they changed within a few days of the original post asking for help due to Adobe's actions. 1 /n #animate #ditchingAdobe #friction #animation
I have a question for a niche group of people. The question is for people who have used Flash or Animate to make 2D animations. Have you found alternative software that has the same overall user experience as old school Flash? If yes, what is it? Please note I am aware of a lot of animation packages out there & I know a lot of them are great, but I have a LOT of experience in Flash & if I can ditch Animate but keep the overall experience that would be perfect. Thanks. #animation
