In my dream, I was in a park, working on something on my laptop. A child came up to me and showed me a map. On the map, there was a mark showing my location, my computer’s IP address, my name, and my photos.
The child said: “Why aren’t you using a VPN? If you don’t, anyone can access your information.”
I said he was right and turned on the VPN on my computer. Then he asked:
“Why didn’t you download a VPN brand that starts with the letter ‘O’? That one is the best.”
I wrote about this situation on Nostr, and many people commented.
It turned out that this VPN brand had created a map that connects IP addresses, GPS locations, and social media profiles, and exposes the personal information of people in the same area.
They were manipulating people into buying their VPN through this map.
People who convinced others to install this VPN were earning commission by entering special codes while installing it on their computers.
This system was especially widespread among children. Almost every 15,16 year old was going around persuading people who were not using VPNs to buy this VPN in this way.
This was just the sub-pilot of my main dream.
