Copenhagenize has just dropped their list of "Most Bike-Friendly Cities" (the "Copenhagenize Index"). I just got back from another trip to Copenhagen on Saturday, and I still can't understand by what metric Copenhagen deserves to be above Amsterdam. At least for the past few years they've been willing to admit that Utrecht is #1 though! :) Also, I'm glad to see no American cities made the list time time, because I always thought that was too much "grading on a curve". https://momentummag.com/the-30-most-bike-friendly-cities-in-the-world-the-2025-copenhagenize-index-arrives/
Adam Something joined me on the Urbanist Agenda podcast to talk about a new political party in Czechia, the "Motorists for Themselves" party, and it was even more crazier than I expected. The far-right is being actively funded by fossil fuel billionaires and they're attacking climate change legislation ... and good urbanism is being caught in the crossfire.
