back of my hand is bleeding from trying to punch at the fencing mask of my opponent as our swords got bound up in a clash face to face. just a scrape from the leather liner of my clamshell gloves I think, nothing serious. makes sense I guess because the gloves are made for protecting against longsword strikes, not for punching.
