Water in the Saint-Lawrence river in Montreal QC is so low right now that many boats are stuck in the mud. People are concerned that they won't be able to take their vessels out of the river before the water freezes. A few days ago they tried to raise the water level by allowing water to flow in from the Lake Ontario dam, but it didn't rise enough :/. A very tricky situation.

Their latest feature is a sort of autopilot which allows them to promote your creator account for you, by sending backers emails, to ask them to upgrade their pledge... Neither of us knew this thing existed. Why the fuck is this sort of thing not opt-in only?! Sorry to those that got emails mentioning offers from our account :/... we've deactivated them all now.
