Nothing puts a smile on my face faster than hearing MAGA lose their shit, especially the ones in congress. Sorry guys, but the days of allowing ICE to act as the Gestapo, are over. Everyone says that if you stand against ICE, you stand against deportation, nothing could be further from the truth. There is a meme floating around that shows how many people past presidents have deported, yet there were no riots then, and they think that is some kind of “gotcha” moment. Again, nothing could be further from the truth. Let me spell it out for those with IQ’s lower than their shoe size. The reason past presidents were able to deport so many people with no civil unrest, is because ICE operated within the confines of the law, they did not have a corrupt DoJ and DHS allowing them to do basically whatever the fuck they wanted. They were also ALL trained and vetted, unlike what you currently see. They also, and this is the important part, treated those that were here illegally, like human beings and not animals as is currently on display. They were also afforded due process so they weren’t just shipping people out of the country against court orders without even having any solid proof that they are here illegally. And while we are on the subject of legality, it is very easy for someone to enter this country legally and just decided to stay longer than they were allowed to. Now, I’m not particularly happy about that but they technically are not breaking the law and therefore are not technically illegal They are undocumented which is a civil offense. Let me say that again for the people in the back, being undocumented is NOT a crime, it is a civil offense. The problem is, this administration expects people to just sit back and let them do as they please because they have fooled their constituents into thinking this is the only way it can be done, and this is when that meme comes back to bite them in the ass. It is actually a perfect example of how mass deportations could be handled if they were being handled by an administration that was not only corrupt, but racist AF as well.
