Manly P Hall
"When the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; when the church governs, he is ruled by superstition, and when the state governs, he is ruled by fear. Before men can live together in harmony and understanding, ignorance must be transmuted into wisdom, superstition into an illumined faith and fear into love."
"Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian author, lecturer, astrologer and mystic. Over his 70 year career, he gave thousands of lectures, including two at Carnegie Hall, and published over 150 volumes, although is most known for his 1928 work, The Secret Teachings of All Ages. In 1934, he founded The Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles, which he dedicated to Truth Seekers of All Time, with a research library, lecture hall and publishing house."

Nestled in the verdant embrace of Iceland's landscape, this turf house, likely dating back to the age of Norse settlement around the 9th century, stands as a testament to human ingenuity harmonizing with nature.
Crafted from timber and cloaked in a living mantle of earth and grass, it blends seamlessly into the terrain, its roof a vibrant ecosystem in miniature.
This symbiotic relationship with nature offers insulation against the harsh climate while blurring the lines between architecture and the wilderness it inhabits.
A portal to the past, it whispers tales of survival, resilience, and the enduring spirit of those who sought shelter and solace within its earthen walls, a poignant reminder of humanity's intricate dance with the land.
