-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-
THE DOOMSDAY DJ:
TUNES FOR THE POST APOCALYPSE
Fleetwood Mac singer, songwriter, and keyboard player Christine McVie passed away on this day in 2022 (November 30)
She was 79.
All good teams need their “glue guy”; the person who isn’t out front doing the starry stuff, but in the background doing the work, holding it all together.
Christine McVie was that with Fleetwood Mac…
They had a constellation of stars who were always in the spotlight, in a band always seemingly threatening to implode and tear itself apart; while all the time, just off to the side, just out of the limelight, holding it all together was Christine McVie…
Christine was responsible for writing some of the band’s biggest hits and much loved songs like “Don’t Stop”, “You Make Loving Fun”, “Hold Me”, “Say You Love Me”, “Songbird”, “Everywhere”, and “Little Lies”.
In fact, on Fleetwood Mac’s “Greatest Hits” anthology, released in 1988, which sold more than eight million copies: She either wrote or co-wrote half of its 16 tracks.
Every Fleetwood Mac fan has their favourite Christine McVie song!
In just half an hour, she wrote one of the band’s most beloved songs, “Songbird,” the emotional ballad that for years served as the band’s closing encore in concert.
In 2019 Mick Fleetwood, told New Musical Express that “Songbird” is the piece he wanted played at his funeral, “to send me off fluttering.”
McVie was awarded the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors' Gold Badge of Merit in 2006, and in 1998 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with former husband John McVie as part of Fleetwood Mac…

Purkharam, a 42-year-old man from Rajasthan, is living with a rare neurological condition called Axis hypersomnia, which forces him to sleep for a staggering 300 days a year.
His debilitating sleep cycles can last for 20 to 25 days at a stretch. First diagnosed 23 years ago, the disorder has drastically limited his life, allowing him to operate his grocery shop for only five days a month.
While he is asleep, his dedicated family members must ensure he is fed and bathed. Even with this extreme amount of rest, Purkharam reports suffering from constant fatigue and severe headaches.
His family hopes that he will eventually recover and live a life unconstrained by this extraordinary sleeping condition.

The Stack That Outlives You…
It won’t trend.
It won’t make headlines.
And no one will congratulate you for it.
But it will change everything.
Because while most people are fighting for scraps in a system designed to fail them…
You’re building something they’ll never see coming.
And it starts with one quiet move:
Stacking sats.
Not for gains.
Not for clout.
But for your bloodline.
Here’s what most never understand:
The average person works 40 years to leave behind a house, some savings, and maybe a retirement account.
All of it?
Trapped in fiat.
Subject to inflation.
Taxed. Controlled. Vulnerable.
But 0.01 BTC stored cold?
That’s generational.
It’s an asset outside their reach.
A vault they can’t dilute.
A legacy they can’t censor.
Because while fiat fades, hard money compounds.
And your sats?
They don’t just store value.
They store decisions.
The decision to opt out.
To break the cycle.
To leave your children something unbreakable.
That’s what they don’t teach you:
→ Generational wealth isn’t about stacking millions
→ It’s about stacking signal
→ Showing your family what’s possible outside the system
And that stack you’re building?
It’s not noise.
It’s a message to the future:
“We didn’t comply. We prepared.”
No trust fund.
No hedge fund.
Just one sovereign stack, passed hand to hand.
Quiet.
Unstoppable.
Permanent.
Stack for today.
But think in decades.
This isn’t just wealth.
It’s your bloodline, unbroken.
Stack deep, stack sats.
