OK enough fun games. I’m asking the main question: Is she innocent? (poll following, since you can’t have a poll and a photo in the same post.) #picathecat image
Government mandated cat cuddling and cat petting regulations have only increased around here. Mandatory lap allocations. The regime knows no limits.
"Would you ever put a prediction market in Roblocks? Let kids bet with their robucks?" Insane combinations of words that should never occur. Anyone even discussing such questions ought to be put into prison. However... Moments like this make me more determined to help kids build an internet they can control.
Ants have tremendous physical variation. Consider the difference in the legs between turtle ants and leaf cutters. This photo by Chris Joll shows how compact Cephalotes varians can be. Her body is flat so she can hide in tree bark. Leafcutter ants have long legs that help them to carry and cut larger leaves. Their bodies are like a compass.
She is excited to help you recycle and compost that tree! image
When they first brought the Atta Cephelotes colony to the American Museum of Natural History, there were lots of large soldier ants, guarding the path where the ants, carried their leaves back to their nest, but now having settled in, you see hardly any soldiers at all. I had to look in the nest near what I suspect is the Queen’s chamber to even find one! They may have stopped producing soldiers because, in a closed environment, they just aren’t necessary. #leafcutterants #atta
