Just got back from the ant exhibit out in CT. It was amazing. I’ll post about it more later. If only they came in this size in real life.

I just learned about a new data storage format. A rare analog digital hybrid. Behold the "Aperture Card" This is a punch card that holds a microfiche slide with a document, diagram or photo. The punch card could be used to catalog the scanned document or to make searching easier. (Why does looking at these give me feelings. I love this. )

“Make unstoppable happen.” Sounds more like a threat than a slogan— I regard JP Morgan’s new slogan as a negative market indicator. There’s something self-conscious about it. Why would a proud and venerated investment bank like JP Morgan Chase even think about our glorious, ever-rising stock market being stoppable at all? why would it need to be made unstoppable? Why do they have an ad on the subway? When toboggan ride begins? people may well long for the stoppable. #stockmarket

your car is too big and it looks like an expensive tumor. It looks like a pug who was selected as a poster child for the dangers of the poor breeding practices of puppy mills. It looks sad. and it doesn’t fit anywhere: not in a parking spot, not in the garage, not through the opening to the carport. What I have is catching. My husband just sent me a photo of the marble in an office "it looks like an ant, what is happening to me?" "you are waking up, my love" (And speaking of interior decorating ideas... marble on the walls is a bit much ... oooh but I could go for THIS)

Apparently one of the things driving the whole bathroom with no tub "trend" are tall people who do not fit in them so the tall people just get rid of the tub and have only a shower. Excuse you I was swimming in there. Tall people must be stopped. Grab their knees!
