My husband and I have this concept called a "cat story" cats have rather short attention spans (for things like stories, and words) so cat stories are very short. Here is a very popular "scary" cat story: "and then they ATE the kitty" That's the whole story. It's very popular to tell around a fire while camping. Here is another "cat story" "So the kitty ate them ALL." This is a more positive story, obviously.
50 year mortgage 50 year mortgage we want the 50 year 50 year mortgage in a 30 year mortgage one often pays the price of the home more than twice over. This is not enough interest. MOAR
I hate it when people mistake my “systematic meandering” for a “random” walk. https://phys.org/news/2023-01-species-ant-doesnt-randomly-meander.html
Do you have a TV in your home? That is a large screen on a shelf, table or wall for watching videos and movies not a computer monitor. (A screen with a keyboard in front of it that you sit at is not a "TV")
Are teeth ever NOT creepy?
In fiction are there any huge stereotypes, tropes about divorced characters that are overdone, annoying? Writing this as someone who “simply can’t imagine getting divorced*” I decided to just make my character as astonished & confused as I would be. (write what you know?) I do feel like I’m bumbling around a bit here. This guy is a math professor, gets divorced after his daughter goes to college— didn’t expect it, even if he understands it. *I also get this is naive #divorce #writing
Imagine being a millionaire and just... using X, threads, tiktok or facebook and still having to struggle to click the little box to make the ads close. Wouldn't a luxury lifestyle be free of advertisements?
Sometimes my friends notice when, after they have been talking about something they will see an ad for it. "my phone is spying on me!" I used to think this was unlikely. I'd go into "while that is possible it's not reasonable..." mode. Not so much anymore. It does seem feasible now. And I think it might be a fruitful area for privacy advocates to focus on since this *really* creeps people out.
I like wax seals and I'm always looking for excuses to use them. So, when I noticed that a few of the places that sell seals and wax are now offering numbered wax seals... well what are these used for? They are even selling the tacky "peel and stick" variety which means people are really using them for something... but what? The sets may include metal seals in the numbers 1-10 or 11-20 etc up to 100. 1-10 is most popular. image
